The results are quite often disastrous. Usually, the result is so square that there is nothing resembling a rock that you might see on a dirt road or vacant lot.
There are, no doubt, some radical exceptions.

Each has changed the concert going experience by knowing when and how to “rock out.” I think they just do it naturally. They know where the music can go, while all along completely honoring each composer’s intention.
